Avedon, Fashion’s Photographer

The International Center for Photography is running a retrospective of the famed fashion photographer Richard Avedon.  Avedon’s photography was ground breaking in the fashion industry and helped launch careers like the iconic model Twiggy.  Avedon was renowned, not only for his fashion photography, but also for his ground breaking portraits of ordinary people.  This exhibit will feature photography from his long career at Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, The New Yorker, and more.  The show runs from now until September 6^th, more information is available at International Center of Photography.
