—- We had a big step forward today to Save the Garment Center. It seems the union is on board to preserve about 300,000 square feet so far in the NYC garment district. A deal will not be finalized until the union, landlords, apparel execs, and New York City officials come to a final agreement, but things are finally moving in the right direction.
—- So Kanye West has announced that he wants to be a fashion intern for a design house! Perhaps he’s been watching a little too much of the hills because interning is really not all it’s cracked up to be, although, we wouldn’t mind having yummy Kanye around the office cutting some swatches. Sure, why not? If hockey player Sean Avery could intern at Vogue, there’s no reason trend savvy Kanye couldn’t make it in the fashion world.

—- Well here’s a shocker nobody saw coming, Heidi Montag’s line has been cancelled. Sorry folks, no more skankalicious Heidiwood shorty shorts for you!
—- Rumor has it that Victoria Beckham’s line was not actually designed by her, hmmm a celeb not designing their own line, really? The real designer is Roland Mouret, one look at his own work and the truth becomes very obvious. Now Victoria claims that he’s only given her advice and helped with some contacts and vendors. Or, just maybe, she paid off Mouret because the former Spice Girl, ”wanted, what she really, really wanted” was talent.
