I imagine so, things are always changing and if you don't change with it you are left behind. PF did such a great job with Devil Wears Prada, and she was THE force behind Sex and the City on tv. I was sad when I heard she wouldn't reflect the economy in her wardrobe choices for the movie sequel. Can she not handle it, not up to the challenge? It would make the next movie more realistic. And plus, Carrie knows how to scope out the deals.

Patricia Field should use some of that creativity and give SJP a new look. It would be more fun and challenging to come up with awesome outfits that are inexpensive and not all easy to choose designer pieces. If she was smart she would appeal to the masses and then start a less expensive line and make tons of money. Come on, Patricia get with it!

I'm kind of torn about Pat Fields. I loved the fun, whacked outfits in the TV show, but perhaps the film went a little too far? I'd hate to see Carrie get dull.

That would be really sad about Patricia Fields, I think shes is incredible. With that said, I can definitely see how SJP would want to head in a different direction. Considering the economy and all. The show and movie is watching by regular girls who adore it and sometimes they can probably feel as if they cannot accomplish that level of high fashion. Love the blog x

well... probably! i think the whole fashion industry is changing, and these ladies don't seem to be having any of it. actually, i think it's great sjp is being conscious of what's going on in the world. it will be interesting to see interpretation of recession chic
