Fashion Week Snippets

Here’s some random thoughts on fashion week for y’all!!

Loved Marc Jacob’s collection, fun, eclectic, just shy of costumey but in a good way.  The accessories were brilliant, vintage style hats, sexy stylized shoes, and belts galore. Loved the mix of plaids and florals very fresh! Although, Marc’s outfit…um well take a look;

Anna Sui showed us fashion doesn’t have to be so very serious.  Not only was her collection full of color and life but so were her models.  Wearing bold prints and spring brights the models were a diverse mix who actually looked happy and healthy.  Models smiling! Shocking!

Monique Lhuiller brought the glam and we loved it! Anything girlie and luxurious really does it for us.  So were were happy to see Monique didn’t go too resort or beachy casual and kept plenty of her signature gowns in this collection.

So we’ve seen a lot to love so far and if we had to pick one key item that we keep coming back to, its the jumpsuit.  It has been featured in many shows, in several different interpretations.  It’s one of the few new silhouettes and we are excited about it. Although we must acknowledge that it’s not a look for everyone, but we’ll give it a try.  For more fashion week news check out;
