but idk about buying america made clothes. seems protectionistic and the last thing we need in this tightly knitted economy is protectionism?

let the country do what it does best i’d say. like what you mentioned, a tank top goes at the price of half a loaf. many would argue that its inhumane to buy these Made in China items – sweat, blood and even deaths of sweatshop chinese workers – but very sad to point out, the bulk of american consumers can’t do without them anymore. especially in times like these.
