    Recently, we came upon a new fellow Garment Center website.  This site works as a directory, listing all the various businesses in our neighborhood.  It is an excellent resource for buyers and retailers who flock to NYC during market week and Fashion Week to place their orders.  Garment Center Online was the brainchild of Janine Rosenblum. The wife of a Garment Center veteran Larry Rosenblum, who has worked in the fashion industry for the past 27 years, after discussing how there was no central location to access the different companies of the Garment Center and what they represent from a product stand point www.garmentcenteronline.com was created.  Besides their intended use directed at manufactures, we see another benefit; for all you struggling out of work designers, production managers, CAD artists, technical designers and more, here is easy access to future employment contacts.  For any of you frustrated with incompetent recruiters and faceless Internet job search engines (who’ve considered trolling 1411 with resume in hand) Garment Center Online provides you directly with a comprehensive list of apparel companies.  However you choose to use this site, it is a fantastic resource for the fashion industry and we wish them much luck.
