Oh Gaga Gaga, she is always a wonder to me, I simply don’t understand that how she get such ideas to wear such weird outfits. Someone help her finding a new designer please. Though she looks pretty good when she wears something decent.

Well, I have to say, this Mark Fast person is stupid if he wants her to stay away from his line. But, if he’s all about “every day fashion” and not-as he so put it-”fast food fashion” then he’s really not much of a designer she would want to be near anyways. Gaga’s all about couture and HIGH fashion. She’s all BIG names and things you CAN’T wear everyday. But, she makes it work and makes it look AMAZING. So, this Mark Fast can keep his stupid line to himself. I highly doubt she’s grieving because he told her no.

I LOVE lady gaga, but I don’t think we should get all upset at him for denying her. I think he’s afraid of being just another jumper on the bandwagon, and that likely includes _any_ bandwagon, not just the Gaga one. Like you said, they have similar tastes, so probably if she weren’t surrounded by so much uber hype he may actually want her endorsement. It’s not about being dumb PR-wise, it’s about maintaining the integrity of his brand.

I totally agree with dreamsequins and the comment about “blind hero worship”, but I don’t personally appreciate her. I just don’t find her to be interesting, have an attractive aesthetic, or be an “artist”, as so many people do. I definitely respect the designer for not taking her on; she’s still a celebrity, still a fad, still something that he does not want as part of the image. Plus, just because we think his line looks like Lady GaGa’s clothing does not mean that’s the look he’s going for; it’s just what we have to compare it to. Besides, he’s getting the publicity and people who aren’t fans of Lady GaGa but still like his clothing won’t be turned off by his line.

Not sure if that makes sense. Kind of rambling, I suppose.

I really think that most of fashion media is engaging in blind hero worship of Ms. Gaga, and I certainly count myself among her followers, but celebrities help sell clothes, so I don’t see why he wouldn’t want her to wear his things…
