Ha! Nicks Place! It’s been there FOREVER and the food has always been good and is much healthier and fresher than most of the horrible storefront fare in the Garment Center. I remember after the first time I went there with a friend years ago – afterwords, having not paid much attention (& friend notoriously hard to reach) spent weeks trying to find it again! They had No signage whatsoever for years!

If the food is good, sure– why not? People eat cart food all the time…

My question is: during these hallway meals do freight deliveries keep coming? I wouldn’t want to lose my place in line when some guy comes barreling through with a refrigerator delivery or a dumpster or something.

I am glad you posted this. When my agency moved offices over to this part o’ town a year ago, I also started finding weird freight entrance eateries. There is one in the same area between 7th/8th on 37th/38th that’s a good pita counter. When I walked in it was like walking into some secret world – everyone knew to walk in, where the line was in relation to their tiny counter and what to order right away.

Can we petition for Better Burger to deliver past 34th Street?
