    More Random Fashion Scoop

    1. Is LA fashion week over? -Smashbox Studios recently announced that it split from fashion week organizer IMG.  Together these companies produced Mercedes-Benz LA fashion week, however it is now unclear if and when LA will host another fashion week.
    2. Yeah!  Little Leanne Marshall won Project Runway last week – We loved her unique sense of style especially her use of sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly mindset.
    3. LiLo becomes a designer too -  Yes, another celebrity has launched a fashion line, in this case it’s Lindsay Lohan.  She was at the launch of her new line of leggings at Henri Bendel’s last week. 
    4. Euro-trash alert! -Mathias Guerrand-Hermès the air to the french fashion house Hermès was arrested at JFK airport for apparently grabbing an AirFrance pilot’s crotch in-flight.  Classy!
    5. Tahari sample sale -The Elie Tahari sample sale runs from 10/21 to 10/25 at 510 5th ave near 43rd st on the ground floor.  Get 70% to 80% off clothing, shoes, and accessories. 
    6. RIP Mr. Blackwell – Yesterday fashion icon Mr. Blackwell passed away at age 86.  His infamous “Worst Dressed Lists” will be missed.
