Attention all denim divas, we’ve got the scoop on some new denim dish.  No, it’s not another high-end denim start-up of $200 Japanese cotton jeans.  Invista is an innovative fabric development company that strives to produce technologically advanced polymer fibers. They’ve created a new fabric, Lycra lastingFIT which is designed specifically for the denim market.  This new fabric uses a T400 fiber that supplies stretch, as well as, excellent recovery and power to return.

For you the denim fashionista, this means better fitting jeans that will hold their shape throughout the lifetime of the garment, i.e. no more saggy ass.  For you denim designers, this is a new and exciting fabric to experiment with.  As consumers are still spending more on denim then other categories, this is a good way to keep your line innovative and exciting plus increase customer loyalty.  For more on Invista and their new denim technology click here.

Looking for more denim dish? Here you go, feast your eyes on some delicious new denim looks from Barneys’ Fall catalog!
