The Roaring Twenties Comes To NYC

If you’re lookling for something fun and fashionable to do outside this beautiful weekend, we’ve got the answer for you. Check out the 1920’s Jazz Age Lawn Party going on today and tomorrow at Governer’s Island. We went today and it was inspiring, if you’ve never been to the island before this is a great time to visit. As you can see from our photos the dress code is pure 20’s so grab some friends, throw on your favorite vintage piece, pack a picnic basket, and enjoy! There is music, dancing, a historic village, and cocktails. The cover is only $5 dollars, just hop the ferry and soak up all the fabulosity of a 1920’s lawn party. For more info click here.

I really love that people went all out with the costumes. I think Governor’s Island is one of the best kept secrets of NY!
