I Spy, We Spy, You in the Garment Center
By admins | May 14, 2009

We’ve been meaning to put up these pictures for a month now. Spring has come to NYC as is evident during lunchtime in our neighborhood. Nobody ever wants to be cooped up all day, chained to a computer but that sentiment is even stronger when the weather turns. We have a big case of spring fever around here and if you are actually lucky enough to get a lunch-break, it’s time to get outside. Despite being in the center of Midtown Manhattan we have a plethora of outdoor eating options around; the most notable of course, is the lovely Bryant Park, which despite always being packed, it’s still easy to snag a seat. On the south side there is the smaller Herald Square park and thanks to the Fashion Center BID and NYC DOT, we now have tables and chairs right along Broadway to eat at. If all else fails there’s the steps in front of 1411 to enjoy the warmer weather on. So happy spring everyone and take advantage of the beautiful weather (which hopefully will be back any day now) to enjoy lunch time in the Garment Center.

And sometime this summer, there will be tables and chairs down Broadway, right in front of Macy’s! Amazing. Love your Bryant Park picture.
