    Streetwear Designer Contest

    Thanks to the people over at street label Southpole for notifying us of their design competition.  If you haven’t heard, Southpole is holding a contest for the best design of a hoodie.  The winning design will be featured in Womens Wear Daily, plus a profile of the winning designer will be included.  It’s a great opportunity to get your name out there, and maybe try something new.  There’s just two weeks left to submit your best guys or girls hoodie design along with a 1-page essay detailing specs, design elements and fabrication.
    To enter, go to: www.wwd.com/hoodiecontest.  Design deadline is July 24th, 2009 and the winner will be announced on September 24th, 2009.  Good Luck!

      i’ve got gas. again. a streetwear contest? winner published in Womens Wear Daily? No wonder everyone says streetwear is dead. gotta go, getting that flatulent feeling again (got Beano?)

      Actually I think this is fab opportunity for the right person. I know a lot of urban wear graphic designers out of work who would be great at this.
