		<description>I WORKED IN THE GARMENT DISTRICT MY WHOLE ADULT LIFE.  I WAS THE HEAD BOOKKEEPER FOR A COAT MFG. AT 247 WEST 37TH STREET.  I LOVED IT.  IT WAS THE GREATEST PLACE TO WORK.  HAVE WONDERFUL  MEMORIES OF MY DAYS THERE..  SO SAD TO SEE IT ALL GONE.  THE PERIOD I WORDED THERE WAS FROM THE EARLY FIFTIES TO THE LATE 80&#039;S.
TOO BAD IT IS ALL GONE.</description>
